Your imaginative Politicians…
I don’t know who create the Political system that we have now. If you want to know just add a query at google, I am sure you will find ample facts about the history of politics. As a layman, not attached to any political party or an avid partisan, I just follow the nation political updates from newspaper, tv or radio. Now the Internet is my number one source. Person like me covers the majority of the voters. We don’t go to certain political party rally, talk or assembly. We thought that we have important things to do and let the right person handle all the nation issue. Sometimes hot issue fought by different political party just don’t fit into our head and we can’t see the relevant. So live will go on and the parties that championing their issues thinks all human cares about what they talk about.
This majority voters usually will follow their heart and current situation. They will not being bothered about certain political agenda or leader. Rhetorical style of politicking will make them even more boring and directly change the TV channel to see the WWF wrestling. When they see party leaders giving help to poor kids like a pocket money, a bag of rice to the elderly and visiting sick patient in the midst of an election, there will be no sudden sympathy reaction but in the head think :
“Ahhh, they will do this when every election comes, want to buy vote only, after this don’t you dare to see the minister.. that sick patient will die waiting…”
In reality, the politicians can give them money but can’t buy their vote.
“Don’t be fool..lah, who don’t want a free lunch”
Beside both of the giver and the recipient don’t make any legal agreement if I give you this new bike you must vote for me. People like this think anyone can lead the country if they are good enough, and their faith will be the same, you can’t be rich if voting certain political parties…you will still be like this …Said John Doe at a local coffee shop.
So this people, what do you expect from your imaginative politicians?
-live at a 3 room public apartment as you neighbor…
-drive a 4 stroke motorbike to work…
-lunch with you everyday at coffee shop and talk about women…
-Get a salary within their qualification, like you…degree is more and high school is lest..
-Queuing up to pay the bill..
-their children study at local school with your kids…
…………hmm Not in life!!!
