Unmotivated employee, not at their desk, not following work due, playing instant messenger in office hours and out for lunch more than time limit are some of the example of what employer experience daily.Then here comes the control mechanism, both hardware and software. The Hardware - the famous CCTV, most reliable tools for fast result. Just plug in and at isntant the employee will glued to their desk. Then come the software for productivity - like Key Performance Indicator and balance score card. Implement all of this and the company is going corporate.
Now the company can produced well programmed staff to achieve the goals. It’s all about money and merit. Nothing more. But big corporation, well known and established also collapse, not just a plain lost in their revenue but bankrupt, loosing everything. Recent economic turmoil end of last year that hit U.S is the clear evidence. Of course company like Lehman brothers with $billion in assets must be applying all sort of system to maintain the staff maybe like KPI’s, MBO, MBE, 5S, KAIZEN, Six Sigma or TQM but it still bankrupt last year. Say we are sick and need a treatment, first place we can think is the nearest hospital. At the hospital the doctor will make a standard procedure using all the apparatus in our mind. There will be a stethoscope, thermometer , scale, X-Ray, etc… Then we get the prescription and go the pharmacy and get the drugs. If we still sick then the doctor will do another examination and give another type of medication as the last pills maybe not suitable. Then maybe we need a surgery. And the Hospital never guaranteed the customer that all treatment from pills to surgery can make 100% success rate. If the diseases are very chronic, the Doctor will motivate us to be patient and brave as maybe we just can live for another 6 month.

It is good to know that you are filthy rich. Work just alone, from the comfort of your home with 20k++ income per month. But why come to me and ask if we could talk anywhere? What about all your money have to do with me? I don’t bother if you a rich, that is your problem not mine. And all the sudden many claimed to be rich want to help us out to be like them drive a recon BMW. That is just one called from some one verbally who like to see me and want me to hear about his success story at a mamak stall. Come on buy me a drink at Renaissance to impress me. It is very fishy that suddenly some one who claimed he is rich and want to tell you the secret but not in the phone but must meet some where. Why Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Al-Bukhary and other big shot in MNC’s don’t come to us at the stall to tell their secret?
