As for the selling part, whether it’s a brick and mortar store or an e-shops, the situation is the same. There will be bad days and good days. Some time, the bad days are more than the good days and that is very hard to go through. In bad days maybe nothing are sell, nothings go into your cash register but something must go out from your wallet everyday. If in the 3rd day, also nothing is sell, you already worried enough to move your items out of the shop or going on cheap sales.
Apart from giving discount, moving your sales to other place that have the crowd like flea market also help to get fast result. But the price must be cut lower than shop price. When people go to place like flea market, they set in the mind that they can get cheap price and good bargain. This apply to online marketplace too.
When there are no or low transaction at our e-commerce shop, we tend to sell it at eBay for example. You can see the price at eBay, much more lower. eBay also have huge traffic from around the world. All with just a fraction of cost, if at flea market we must pay the parking or site fee per day, at ebay we also need to pay the listing fee. All business is basically have the same way, now It depend on us how to get higher conversion….
