Networking Like a Pro: Turning Contacts into Connections

Contacts are important for modern people. All people have their own contacts. Some time a contacts can shape the future of the owner depending on the industry or area . A mobile phone are the main peripheral for storing contacts. When a mobile phone is lost, most people worried about the contacts lost rather than the mobile phone itself. After that goes email, facebook etc.

Establishing a good contacts can help us to achieve certain goals in our live. In business  many contacts are really helpful in sales and projects.  In some condition we always see that a son of a political leader may end up as his father successor or some figure in the politics. A successful business man son can also successfully  get a good project or a loan on his first venture. A son of a bureaucrat  can  get things done in almost all government thingy using his father contacts.

As a lay man, we also use our contact in our way. Such as getting a discount at certain services, quick hotel booking,  good seat in stadium  or  a free meal like when your  got friend as a some fast food branch manager. It’s has a different  when asking for something from some one we does not know rather that our contacts. People in business do many kind of thing to established good contacts, like:

-Frequent visit and  paying for the meals

-Offer free services insights for upcoming new product

-Provide extra services with a normal price

-Attending all function that host by the contacts

To burst an emails to all the contacts in our mailing list even it has a 5000 list are not the same as calling just 20 good contacts.  The 5000  email burst is like throwing a fish net in wide ocean but the 20 good contacts is like picking  a fish in an aquarium. From 5000 list maybe we can just get 20 potential sales but the 20 good contacts can confirm to brings us something and some of them maybe will recommend us to others with good reputation.

Also it always good  to make friends  and helping others with no other reason or attention at all. In the future it’s pays . God willing…
