I have twitter but I seldom tweet. As I said before, I think only serious person online do tweet or a celebrity, politician or a news writer.All my friend in my office doesn’t really know what twitter is all about, also my friend in the other building office. But for facebook, it is a different thing.
Maybe Twitter is just a crap, but only when it is launch, the technology was kind a cute and every body write about it like an emerging of the next google. So the heavy marketing make every Internet marketing looks antique if not registered with twitter.
Well, actually there is other application that similar to twitter like Jaiku, do you jaikus? If twitter is so famous in the world but still some people don’t realize it, Jaiku maybe worst.

My experience with desktop computer all end with a dead machine. My first own desktop computer was way back 10 years ago at the university. An Intel Celeron powered machine, 64mb RAM. Don’t remember the speed but it was a slot A version. Slot A is like your pci card.Windows ME. When I graduated, send the computer home by a courier, after that it can’t start and can’t be repaired. Also at that time the cpu already obsolete.
Then, I’m buying another desktop machine, still a Celeron but new version from Pentium III slot 370 at 1000mhz, built in motherboard and 256mb RAM. Few years using it, a usual problem for desktop computer occur, motherboard problem. Can start but nothing detected or booting at the BIOS. At this time I have extra money spend more on the desktop PC performance. So I buy another desktop computer. It is Pentium 4, 3000mhz, 2GB RAM from corsair and Palit 256mb nVdia graphic card, 40GB harddisk. But that is about 2 and a half year ago. Last month my desktop just get blank. Can’t boot at bios also.

When I’m waiting at the restaurant or not doing anything but a laptop is not available , I wish I can write something because idea can came anytime at any place. I have 2 laptops and one desktop computer. One of the laptops is net book but I still don’t like to carry a laptop on a short trip. Blackberry is good for checking and replying email on the go but not good enough to write a blog or write anything that long.
Since my laptop is near it’s expiry, I am thinking of a new laptop but cheap. And a small one too. When wandering around at the shopping mall, I saw an Acer laptop dealer promoting a small type of Acer. I can see that the laptop has an interesting color or it’s colorful. I approach the dealer and have a closed eye on the laptop. An Acer Aspire One.
“Hey Ah-Moi aah, where is the CD drive lorr?”
“No don’t havelah just USB” Said the sales girl like don’t want to sell it to me.
“Soo Ah-Moi aah, is there a slot for 3G Sim card in it?”
“What is that? Read the brochure laa”
So I think there is no slot for 3G Sim card at the Acer one laptop. The price is okay I think for a sub notebook or a netbook (the term for it) – RM1600 or USD$500. I don’t know much about the new Intel Atom processor – Intel’s smallest chip. Built with the world’s smallest transistors. No will not read it for you, read here about all the technical stuff about Intel Atom.
I have an old Acer Aspire 3620 laptop. The 3620 was doing me the job until recently the battery unable to charge. If you unplugged the power cord, the laptop will kapish (shut down) at the blink of an eye like normal desktop computer do when blackout. The logic is the battery doesn’t function anymore and can just open from it slot so can throw it away. But if I throw it away the laptop will not look good so I just kept the dead battery alive.
Laptop battery issue are common. Although we know the myth about dont’t put the battery in the laptop slot unless needed to, we still ignore it and the battery stays forever. It seem logic to us, such us why the mobile phone battery always in the mobile phone and why not take it out. Mobile phone battery can last longer than the laptop battery. So why is the laptop battery just can’t last more that 1 year? Maybe it is a conspiracy between the battery company so they can sustain the company as laptop battery is not like AA or AAA battery which we can buy everyday at grocery shop.
